About ePro® Stable Xtra - stable floor solution

Due to the potentially hazardous effects of hydrated lime, Meadowlands Animal Supplies are now supplying an improved ammonia-absorbing product composed of the natural mineral Crystalline Alumino-Silicate called ePro® Stable Xtra. This product is a non-toxic alternative that won’t irritate your horses mucus membranes or respiratory system as well as being user friendly and cost effective. ePro® Stable Xtra is a highly moisture-absorbent flooring solution that assists with trapping ammonia within tiny channels in its structure, eliminating odours and noxious chemicals from the stable and the air.

Due to the products all natural environmentally friendly content ePro® Stable Xtra makes stable waste an excellent composting material and fertilizer component. Ammonium molecules replace part of the mineral structure, allowing the ammonia to retain its nutrient value and become a slow-release fertilizer, which will prevent crop burn caused by excess nitrogen.
